(035) EndoCouples: Working with Couples Struggling with Painful Sex Due to Endometriosis

Abstract Introduction Endometriosis (endo) is a chronic gynecological illness that affects millions of women. Endo has three main symptoms are often the trigger for diagnosis though can only be confirmed through laparoscopy. Laparoscopy surgical procedure allows surgeon to view organs in abdomen and presence endometriosis. The third most common symptom endometriosis after infertility dysmenorrhea (painful periods) dyspareunia or pain with intercourse.
